This role supports patient meal service, retail operations, and catering by ensuring food quality, safety, and presentation. Key duties include cooking to order, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, managing inventory, and collaborating with team members to ensure efficient and compliant food service delivery.\nThe value you'll bring to the team:\nPrepare patient, retail, and catering meals by following culinary production records, including short-order and batch cooking to ensure quality and temperature standards.\nExecute advance prep tasks by reviewing pull sheets and organizing ingredients for upcoming service periods and high-volume production needs.\nMaintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment, ensuring all equipment and surfaces meet health standards and recording temperatures according to regulatory requirements.\nManage inventory by sorting, labeling, dating, and rotating stock to support food safety and minimize waste.\nCollaborate with managers and team members to meet operational goals, communicate needs, and support efficient food service delivery.\nQualifications\nThe expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:\n2 years experience in cooking in an institutional setting.\nThis facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.
